I was fortunately sitting next to her, so here were the things I heard her say as we were watching:

"I didn't know they were British."

"Are those horns on her head?"

"Do they live on a bus?"

"Is this supposed to make sense?"

And she was judging me HARDCORE when I sang along to "Too Much" and I was just like BITCH WHATEVA U DON'T KNOW HOW THIS MOVIE AFFECTED ME.  I HAD A TOY VERSION OF THE BUS.  I HAD THE POSH AND SCARY BARBIE DOLLS.  I WANTED A SWING IN MY ROOM.

So today in Feminism and Pop Culture, we started watching the beginning of Spice World and when the teacher paused it, I wanted to cry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a girl in my feminism and pop culture class who knows NOTHING about pop culture.

Sometimes, I feel like she has to be pretending.  She didn't know who Christina Aguilera was and she called Posh Spice FANCY SPICE.
