Speaking of tags you created! Because of your fancy Tuesday tag, my coworkers and I (all IT researchers who will mostly wear jeans and nerdy T-shirts) come into work on tuesdays finely dressed in suits and business attire, just for the fun of it!

Second installment of fancy food Tuesday: my preschooler had been insisting we make noodles from scratch because she saw it on Rainbow Ruby on netflix.

It only took multiple hours. Preschooler also wanted orange sauce and that had to be homemade too, storebought is verboten. I made something like a pumpkin-curry. The stars are also pasta by the way, dyed pink with food dye.

It was definitely imperfect, the dough should have been thinner and the flavor balance of the curry was slightly off, but it was still tasty and not to bad for a first attempt. Bonus: kiddo ate really well!

It will be a while before I try anything like this again though, my preschooler got lucky that fall holiday was lengthened due to semi-lockdown.

for @nonasuch -- new shoes for Fancy Tuesday. Fluevog Modvog Ace Face in Snake! When these came out in 2019, I decided to wait until they went on sale, because as much as I thought this was an interesting pattern, I was pretty sure it wasn’t going to be popular enough to sell out quick.

“Don’t Gamble With Your Sole” is imprinted on the soles of the Modvog line shoes -- Fluevog puts different text or graphics on the soles of different lines. My 7th Heaven line shoes all have treads in the shape of angels and the text “Resists alkali, water, acid, fatigue and Satan” on the arch.

Fancy Tuesday! I got dressed up specifically to write my final term paper, because "sweats I wore to bed last night" was not getting me in the right mindset.

it's Fancy Tuesday, lads~

Haven't had a chance to get all dressed up in a long time, this was EXTREMELY gratifying. Also a chance to wear these kickass dress shoes I bought like a month ago. Thinking about wearing this to the polls today to drop off my ballot
