One of my favorite moments from Endwalker.

The overly dramatic (goth style) frenemy whose current ambition is to help end the world so he can fight you to the death a second time and feel the same high from the first time (which was so transcendant he slit his own throat afterwards, he got better). He's confronting you on the moon, about to pull the same trick he did with the last fight (possess a god to fight you with), AND THEN.

The even MORE overly dramatic (drama kid style) nihilistic enemy who allied with him upstages his confrontation of you to take over that god.

And the frenemy just looks at that, and goes 'well, that killed the mood, see you later, have fun killing my ally.'
