Imagine you create a tiktok account just to post such thing.
What worries me most is the number of people who agree.
I'm so tired of it!
“Hankcon is a pedo ship” is not a take, it’s a fandom smear campaign disguised as moral outrage.
Let’s be clear:
Connor is not a child. He is not written, designed, animated, or voiced as a child.
He is a fully grown android with an adult body, adult voice, and adult behavior.
He is a law enforcement agent, created for high-level decision-making and fieldwork.
The game treats him as an autonomous being with agency, who can disobey orders, lie, question existence, and make moral choices.
You may read their relationship as father-son.
But that doesn’t mean everyone else is required to and calling people “pedophiles” over a consensual adult ship is not critique.
It’s slander.
Connor is not Hank’s son.
He is not a minor.
And if your entire argument hinges on equating androids to children — despite the game doing everything it can to show they are not — then maybe what you're really uncomfortable with is androids being treated as people.
And that’s your issue to unpack, not ours.
You don’t like Hankcon? Block the tag. Move on.
But stop throwing around words like “pedophilia” and “problematic” just because people ship something you don’t vibe with.
That’s not activism. That’s harassment dressed up as righteousness.
📢 I'm not Autumn — but I am the one they tried to erase.
@vicecommanderhijikata
I want to make a solemn statement: the actions you describe in this article have nothing to do with me. All the "Autumn" narratives you accuse and construct are not something I participated in, nor am I responsible for.
But I still have to speak out in response because everything you confess violates the most basic ethical bottom line I uphold.
You not only admit to having led, incited, and carried out systematic isolation and moral supervision of a certain creator, but you also threatened with "I have evidence" and "I will fight you until bored," attempting once again to overpower the other party with words and intimidate other potential dissenters.
You keep talking about "justice," but in reality, you enjoy the pleasure of trampling on individual existence with collective power. You are not responding to conflict; you are maintaining a fundamentally exclusive, repressive, and anti-critical circle structure, and you arrogantly call yourself a "governor."
This is not a dispute among fans, not an emotional entanglement, nor a matter of who is right or wrong.
This is a question of how a community treats dissenters, a question of how a power structure enforces discipline under the guise of "maintaining the atmosphere."
I have decided to take this matter outside the circle because the language logic you and your kind use is no longer something that can be contained within "internal small circle affairs."
What you have built is not a fandom, but a moral tribunal disguised under the banner of gentleness, and I am going to dismantle it.
I want everyone to see what you said:
💬 0 🔁 6 ❤️ 5 · I would never, ever abandon someone else who needs me when they're down for the count, especially to something like this. M
You might have seen the drama. You might have heard of “Autumn.”
But let me say this, clearly and publicly:
I am not Autumn.
But I am the one they built that whole story to destroy.
They didn't misidentify me. They erased me.
They replaced my name with “Autumn.” They rewrote my articles into madness. They screenshot my words, stripped them of context, tied them to mental illness, and then passed them around like evidence in a courtroom only they preside over.
And today, the person behind that smear posted a “confession” where she proudly declares how she spent four months:
🔻 Messaging people to block me
🔻 Monitoring my every post and punishing deviation
🔻 Policing my tags, my tone, and my aesthetics
🔻 Warning mods to get me kicked out
🔻 Laughing that I still don’t know who betrayed me first
She admits this. Out loud. In public. With no shame.
She calls this "trying to help." She says this is "constructive."
No. This is organized soft power violence. This is what moral panic looks like in fandom space. And I’m done being silent about it.
🗯️ To everyone watching from the sidelines:
If you’ve ever said, “I’m just here for the drama,”
If you’ve ever thought, “this seems complicated,”
If you’ve ever watched without speaking because it “wasn’t your business”—
I ask you now: make it your business.
Because this isn’t about me anymore.
This is about what kind of fandom you want to live in.
A fandom where critique is answered with public exile?
A fandom where people brag about gatekeeping “for your own good”?
A fandom where every angry woman is rebranded as mentally unstable?
Or a fandom that remembers we are allowed to disagree, dissent, resist?
🔊 I am asking you to break the script:
💥 Reblog this
💥 Add your own statement
💥 Tag others
💥 Say: “I saw this. I heard her. I believe her.”
Let’s drag this narrative out of the shadows. Let’s name what it is:
Soft speech. Hard violence. Silencing disguised as concern.
Don’t let this die in a post with no notes.
Don’t let them rewrite me again.

bro im sorry but. if you're this passionate about racial inequality, that's awesome, and I'm all for speaking up on blatantly problematic things, but ultimately fandom is escapism and has zero impact on the real world. you yourself are bringing an unprecedented and completely unnecessary amount of drama and conflict to the table. this policing of the way other people engage with the fandom is going to KILL it. I appreciate the thought behind your efforts but dude... to quote andy - not like this
ROFL IF FANDOM IS ESCAPIST, AND PEOPLE OF COLOR WANT TO ESCAPE RACISM?!?!?!
Like do y'all genuinely forget we exist or what? Many times when people take this position, it's from a central place of Whiteness and Heternomativity.
Fandom often has very tangible affects on the real world. Saving people from depression, creating friendships, finding a supportive community. But also sometimes affecting the source material directly. (MCU, GoT, ect.)
Conflict and Drama are not the same. Now exposing things in fandom that have previously been ignored e.g Racism, Sexism, Phobias and general assholery. May create conflict. But conflict isn't always bad. Sometimes it helps us see things we haven't seen before. Or exposes us to different worldviews.
So coming here to my inbox because YOU personally are uncomfortable with the current conflict doesn't make me wrong. I would invite you to look at what and WHO you are othering/ ignoring with your argument.
I want this fandom to thrive!!! It's such beautiful media, and the attitude you are displaying here was in no way present in the film. I want this to be a great fan base.
BUT NOT LIKE THIS if it means we hurt PoC
NOT LIKE THIS if we're being transphobic
NOT LIKE THIS if everyone can't have a safe and vocal seat at the table.
- When Gladiolus Amicitia is depicted as physically, verbally, mentally, and emotionally abusive and controlling in any ship
- When Gladiolus Amicitia is depicted as a one-dimensional playboy who is only there to project sex fantasies on to
- When Gladiolus Amicitia is depicted as uncaring, cold, callous, and lacking any emotion what-so-ever
- When Gladiolus Amicitia is depicted as completely selfish, as someone who only cares about himself, and hateful towards others
- When Gladiolus Amicitia is depicted as someone who would cheat on his partner, would abandon them in their time of need, and would blame them for his own mistakes and shortcomings
- When Gladiolus Amicitia is depicted as the deeply thoughtful, nuanced, strong-because-he-has-to-be-but-prone-to-out-bursts-because-he’s-only-human-and-makes-mistakes-like-everyone-does
- When Gladiolus Amicitia is depicted as hugely devoted to his friends, his King, his duty, and the people around him, who he values and would lay his life down for
- When Gladiolus Amicitia is depicted as someone who has been taught his whole life to be strong, and it’s been ingrained in him that his life is worth nothing without a King to protect, and that’s something he believes wholeheartedly and has to deal with that struggle on a constant basis
- When Gladiolus Amicitia is depicted as someone who lost his father in the fall of Insomnia and isn’t given any time to process his own grief because he’s so focused on being the strong one for his companions
- When Gladiolus Amicitia is depicted as a three-dimensional character (that Square completely ignored giving any real development to) is treated with the respect his character deserves, and as more than a pixellated fandom dildo
So the fandom accuses Dana Terrace of being transphobic, just because she confirmed Frankie was cis?
C’mon, you dumbasses! You asked, and she simply just answered! That’s all she was doing! It’s not like she added anything hateful or derogatory! Dana even added later on that she's cool with trans headcanons! Plus, it should’ve been obvious that Frankie was cis from the start, since her legal name is literally Francesca! Now, if she really were trans, her legal name would sound more masculine. There’s no way in hell a high surveillance system, operated by bigots, would allow a trans person to edit their name in their database! And since Frankie was a kid by the time we first heard that name, what trans preteen girl would want to change her name to something like “Francesca?” I know a trans kid would probably want something much cooler! Also, note that Frankie is voiced by a cis woman. So if Frankie were trans, that’d actually be more transphobic than confirming a character to be cis.
It’s easy to recognize when somebody’s just stating a simple fact, and an asshole spewing queerphobic shit. For example, Vivziepop has stated behind the scenes that she sees trans men as self-hating women! Meanwhile, Dana gets beef for just confirming her character’s gender? Stop this. This kind of behavior is the reason why we get labeled as “angry liberals” by anti-woke, racist cishets! Please calm the fuck down, and stop enforcing these stereotypes! Don’t ruin it for us! KOG is one of the most important things to the indie community, and we don’t want to lose it because of salty fandom culture!
The Hakuouki Zine’s favorite pastime: Double Standards
Autumn was disqualified from the Hakuouki zine almost instantly after vague “harassment” claims — no transparent explanation, just a template reply from staff.
Meanwhile, vicecommanderhijikata — a repeat harasser with abusive comments, dozens of hostile DMs, and even links to a hate blog — was left completely untouched.
And to make things worse, one of the loudest attackers of Autumn, Ladyyomi, openly bragged about her “friends” being selected as zine authors.
Why is this the standard? Why are harassers protected while victims are punished? Why the double standard?
