No really, you do! Me and my fellow English classmates have been working on essays about fandoms and the fandom experience. It’s really cool because oftentimes as a fan you don’t get taken very seriously, especially in academic contexts, but for this class we got to write about fandom experiences in a scholarly context. We’ve got it all, from boy bands to crime shows to the relationship between storytelling in Ancient Greece and storytelling today (that last one’s mine).
