Hi, I was wondering if you were gonna post the most recent pages update onto the ride or die website? I tried reading it on tapas but nothing showed up (which might just be an issue with my phone to be fair!)

they'll be up on the website soon! tapas has a one month exclusivity agreement for chapter 2 per update. so the first update will go up on the ROD website a month after it's been up on tapas, and so on!

(and bc feb is a weird short month, first website update will go up on the 15th since that's 30 days after feb 13 lol)

Hey, can I ask whats in the cajun spice mix you made? I'm really curious about what spices typically go in cajun food since I don't eat it much!

Yeah, definitely!

I took a base recipe and modified it to match what I remember from my visits to New Orleans better and also made it spicier, so feel free to play around with the amounts if you ever try it out.

Ryuu Recipe: (Theoretically 12 servings, but much less when I’m in charge lmao.)

-2 teaspoons salt (I use kosher salt, the least salty salt, for reasons revealed later)

-2 teaspoons garlic powder

-2 3/4 teaspoons paprika

-2 teaspoons cayenne pepper

-1 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper 

-1 teaspoon onion powder

-1 teaspoon celery salt (why I use kosher salt at the start)

-1 teaspoon garlic salt (also why I use kosher salt at the beginning)

-1 ¼ teaspoons dried oregano

-1 ¼ teaspoons dried thyme

-½ teaspoon red pepper flakes

Your aspd alastor headcanon is so good! 😭 I'm a psych student in uni and just recently learned more about aspd so its super interesting to hear about it in a non-academic context, but rather a more fandom context, AND from a blog I enjoy! And im also glad to not have the word psychopath or sociopath thrown around in association with aspd, but an actual reasonable decription of what aspd REALLY is. Sorry if this makes no sense lol, it's pretty late where I am!

I’m glad you like it! Psychology is a very interesting and important field, so congratulations and good luck on your studies! I think it’s important to try and view topics in different contexts, and fandom is a way to make it seem a little more real and less academic to people (which is one of the reasons why it frustrates me so much to see such bad takes lmao). And yes, let’s all continue stripping those words from being related to aspd. I will continue shouting about it until I die and y’all will just have to deal with it. XD

Thank you! I’ve finished about half of them, and all the really soon ones should be wrapped up between the 23rd and 31st so we’re almost there. I’m feeling only vaguely more zombie-like than normal, so that’s also an improvement haha.
