On the new Monster High show, as one of those people who dislikes it for certain reasons. I absolutely LOVE the amount of diversity in bodies, disabilities, sexualities (basically the things that the og show wasn’t allowed to do). I think there are wonderful elements to the new show and if you dislike g3 just for that, you’re probably a dickhead.
However the reasons that I DO dislike it are simply as follows: I am an old man who despises change. Simple as that. And for anyone like me that is ok. It’s fine to dislike something because it’s not the way you grew up with it. It is NOT okay, however, to bully people, actors, directors, fans, etc. for liking the new version.
I simply dislike the change in color schemes, overall designs (not including body type changes and added prosthetics & the like), and relationship changes bc I am a die hard Cleo x Deuce and Draculaura x Claud fan simply due to nostalgia (on top of my fav characters not being included anymore RIP)
But y’all need to take a step back and look at the big picture. This is a wonderful show for young kids to watch and does have wonderful aspects as well.
