It’s mostly illegal to sell fanfiction but it’s perfectly legal to publish fanfiction with the numbers filed off. from this I ask, what is the legality of fanfic commissions in which you deliver it with all the IP names changed to spoof names which the commissioner find+replaces once they get the file? I’m actually just asking out of curiosity; I think this would be a stupid business model. Like it’d be dumb, but would it be legal?
