What could this be?
Sorry if someone already mentioned this, but re: Dad Crocker being fedorafreak, isn't there a mismatch in typing 'quirks'? From Dad Crocker's note to Jane we know that he would speak in all caps, like his Beta counterpart. (handwritten notes always match typing style in Homestuck!) I can't think of a reason he'd use fedorafreak's lowercase style.
Do they always match? I've never noticed; I'm re-reading it now anyways, so I'll keep an eye out for that! I mean, I know the trolls do of course. A quick check since I started typing this confirms that Jake's does. But I don't know that I'd assume Dad's would.
Anyways, as with every other objection that's been raised, my blanket response is "that post is seven months old." This is an interesting point, though.
Was pipefan413's quirk ever shown to be all caps? Some people in Serious Business use all lower-case, while others used standard capitalization. I'll have to look to see if we ever saw an actual "tweet" from pipefan413, but I think we only ever saw him in @mentions. Still, it strikes me that an all upper-case 'quirk' wouldn't be apropros for Serious Business.
Were Dad's notes hand-written? They're very 'clean,' compared to every other hand-written note I remember seeing. Anyways. I'm only responding to your question with more questions!
So all that's to say "hmmm, interesting, you have a point."
