No pony would have thought The Ruler of Chaos and The Wielder of Galaxy Magic would have gotten together, but they had. When Discord threatened to take over Equestria the main six came to put an end to his chaos. Discord offered them a deal, a mare to give her hoof in marriage. One brave mare stepped up to give her hoof in marriage to save her home and her brothers own wedding. The story these two have is quite a crazy one to tell.
Two years had passed after Discord and Venus decided to finally tie the knot. On the day of their wedding, Venus was in one of the dressing rooms as she was strangely burping bubbles and vomiting things she didn't remember eating and oddly snow. As the purple mare coughed up a bit of snow her two brothers, Meteorite and Star Dusk, looked at one another before they spoke.
"Hey V, don't you think we should call off the wedding for a day? I mean you're clearly sick with chaos magic." Meteorite said as he watched his sister wipe her mouth and look at him.
"There's no way I can hold this day off. I'll be fine, it's probably just... nerves.." Venus' words trailed off as her eyes and head seem to follow something, as her two brothers looked they caught a glimpse of a chair with wings floating down the hall.
"FLYING CHAIR!" Star Dusk screamed as his wings folded out and he flew after the object, "I Got it!" Trailed his voice as he vanished down the hall.
Venus and Meteorite could only laugh as they looked at each other,
"Guess Dissy's nervous too," Venus said with a soft smile.
Just as Venus said that a small tan pony backed into the room shouting for various items to back off before he slapped the double doors shut, heaving a loud sigh he turned to look at the siblings, it was Blu, Meteorites husband.
"Oh no Venus, take your time. It's not like your future husband is causing chaos downstairs. Oh no, no, no, the chairs aren't floating and the tables aren't crawling UP THE WALLS!" Blu said, shouting his last words as he stared the purple unicorn down.
Venus' unamused face never changed as she stared Blu down,
"Blu, he's nervous too, leave him be," Venus said with a soft sigh than a hiccup that followed with a few bubbles was seen.
"I see you're nervous and apparently affected by this chaos too, but Venus, honey, there's only so much your mom and I can do. The only reason the walls aren't eatable and why the food isn't dancing is because of the princesses. Celestia, Twilight, and Luna are all keeping Discords nervous magic in check. So, to keep from this place getting turned literally upside down, marry him already!" Blu said, wanting to get his point across.
Venus took a small breath in before opening her mouth, yet instead of saying something she ran to the trashcan to vomit. Using her magic to hold her hair up Venus coughed and let a small groan out before standing upright and fixing herself again.
"Of all the things, why snow!! Why do I need to vomit snow?!" Venus asked as she popped a mint in her mouth.
Just as Meteorite was about to say something the double doors opened as Zecora walked in the room, Star Dusk in the doorway,
"I told Zecora about you being sick sis! Maybe she can he- Hey! Get back here you crawling table! You have chips and dip!!" Shouted the young pegasus as he flew after the snack table.
"As your brother says, you are feeling dread?" Zecora said, speaking in her rhymes, she had a small pouch hanging off her side.
"Zecora, it's nice to see you thank you for coming to the wedding." Venus said with a sweet smile, "Yeah, what Star Dusk said is true. I'm not feeling too well." Venus said with a wary look.
"Then do not freat, for I may have the cure for you sure." Zecora said as she reached around into the pouch and pulled a small bottle full of a light green mixture and handed it to Venus, "This will help calm your woah, then you can go." Zecora said with a kind smile.
Looking at the zebra for a few minutes Venus then looked at the potion her magic was holding as she sighed and quickly tilted her head back as she drank the potion.
"What was in that?" Blu asked Zecora as he looked at her with wonder.
"Nothing special, just something small to calm the bride's mind," Zecora said as she watched Venus move the bottle away and lick her lips.
Venus had a smile on her face as she looked at Zecora, "Thank you, Zecora! Whatever that was it made me feel better, at least I don't feel like puking snow! We should probably hurry before whatever that was wears off." Venus said with twinkles in her eyes.
"I shall let them know the bride's ready for her show. Blu, do you not mind? For I can use you in a quick bind." Zecora said as she headed out the door.
"You better not use me to catch a crawling table! I hate those things.." Blu said as he stole a quick kiss from Mederiote and followed after Zecora.
Venus and Mederiote let a small giggle out as they looked at one another,
"I'll go help calm things down then once we're ready downstairs I'll send Star up here to get you." Mederiote said as he hugged his sister and smiled as he let a sigh out "Dear Celestia you're so big.. it's like yesterday mom was teaching you magic and you got your cutie mark." Mederiote said as he stepped away and wipes his eyes before leaving to help clean up.
As Venus looked at herself in the mirror she closed her eyes as her horn started to glow, suddenly Star Dusk walked in,
"Yo, V! You ready to.. get married.. Woah.. sissy your dress.." Star said, taken into much woah to even speak.
As Venus turned to face her brother she smiled, her eyes gave off a welcoming, soft white glow as her horn glowed with magic yet not her normal magic. Venus was a wielder of Galaxy Magic, the last unicorn to even possess such magic, she was using this magic to cast her once white dress into a beautiful galaxy themed dress. A warm smile spread across the unicorn's face,
"Yes, I'm as ready as I'll ever be," Venus said as she walked out of the room, closing the doors behind her as Star Dusk walked beside her, his eyes not being able to cast away from the beauty of the dress.
"Man, Discords a lucky..uh.. he's lucky." Star Dusk said, not being able to remember what Discord was.
"Draconequus, Star Dusk. Discord is a Draconequus." Venus said as her eyes fell over her little brother then back to the path.
"Yeah! He's a Draco- Drico? Dracula?" Star Dusk said with a very confused look on his face as he tried to say the word his sister said, causing Venus to giggle at him.
"Oh, sissy! I heard Zecora talking, apparently she saw three sparkles in your eyes after you drank the potion, she was telling Princess Twilight and Princess Celestia about it." Star Dusk said as he looked at his big sister.
"Hm, it must have been what the potion cured I mean I could have had a touch of Chaos sickness," Venus said as she and Star Dusk approached the wedding hall.
"Wait you can get sick from Chaos!" Star Dusk practically shouted as Venus shooshed him for being too loud, "S-Sorry, I'll go let them know you're here!" Star Dusk said as he rushed inside the hall.
Venus waited and suddenly the music started playing as she made her way inside the room, hearing the gasps and awes from other ponies muttered over the music. Venus didn't care if it was for her looks or her dress, either way, she knew she was getting married and nothing was getting in her way, no snow vomiting, no burping of bubbles, not even the one chair every pony forgot that was still flying around the wedding hall. Venus' eyes soon fell over the Draconequus she was going to marry, he wasn't wearing anything possibly due to the fact that he made what he wanted to wear dance-off. As she made it to the end of the aisle she looked up at Discord with her eyes glowing and a smile of pure pride on her face. As Celestia read the words that would bind the two together Venus and Discord were practically lost in their own subspace as they stared at one another with pure love and compassion for one another.
"Star Dusk, the rings please," Celestia said to the young stallion as he rushed over with a small velvet pillow in his mouth as he kneeled and offered the princess the rings.
Using her magic Celestia lifted the rings off the pillows and dismissed Star Dusk who happily stood next to his big brother.
"Could you both please take the rings for each other," Celestia said as Discord took the ring for Venus, a beautiful gold ring with garnet colored stone, Venus taking the stunning black ring with violet colored stones.
"With these rings you two will be bound to one another, to have and to hold, to care for in sickness and health, and to love each other for the rest of eternity. Does anyone object?" Celestia asked as she looked around the room, seeing no pony saying anything she smiled, "You two may now share vows." Celestia said with a kind smile as she stepped back.
It was quiet for a moment before Discord finally spoke to break the silence.
The two suddenly started to float, their bodies gently twirling up as they soon stopped and floated in midair, a soft glow surrounding the two, neither of the two caring as Discord then spoke.
"Venus, you've been kind, loving, and a rather strict hardheaded mare. These past two years have been the most amazing years of my life, and I'm too old to remember how old I am!" Discord said, earning a giggle from Venus, "I'm glad you were the one that stepped up to marry me if it was anyone else who knows what might have happened." Discord said with a kind smile.
"Discord, You've been with me through my worst and weakest moments and I'm glad it's you that's been with me through those times. You've always caused me to smile, giggle, and laugh. Even cry at sometimes. I love you, and wouldn't have it any other way." Venus said with a kind and gentle smile.
Using both their magic to levitate the rings up Discord held his arms out in case something may have happened and if the rings, or Venus, might have fallen. Using their magic to place the rings on one another, Discord placing Venus ring on her horn and Venus placing Discords ring on his ring finger.
"You may now kiss the bride," Celestia said to the two.
Discord gently took Venus in his arms as he held her close, the two looked at one another before sharing their first kiss as a married couple.
The ponies in the room cheered and clapped their hooves for the newlyweds as they soon floated to the ground, Discord still holding his bride.
"Get a room!" Shouted a grey bat pony with crimson eyes and freckles splattered across his face that also sported a wide grin.
Breaking the kiss Venus looked over to the bat pony, "Can it Dusk! You have your own spouse, let me enjoy my husband!" Shouted the unicorn with a small blush on her face.
Discord let a small giggle out as he held the unicorn closer, "I'm going to enjoy you calling me that, my wife." Discord said, earing a sweet giggle from the mare that was his wife now.
