Day 5: Mentopolis
“Well helloooo, Madame Mayor!,” exclaimed Fanny, positioned sultrily across the bed that she shared with her partner, Anastasia. She was in her evening wear and had made sure to dim the lights to just the right amount.
“Sorry for running late, Fawn!,” exclaimed Anastasia, “City council was a pain all day, and a brainstorm hit just as I was leaving.” As if to prove her point, she wrung out her hat and jacket outside the front door before hanging them up on the coat rack.
“Think nothing of it, doll. With what the big guy’s up to these days, I’m somewhat busy myself!” That was true: ever since Elias started meeting with that cute girl from the coffee shop regularly, Fanny had a lot more on her plate than usual, especially with the notorious Foot Stuff on the loose.
“I was planning on having dinner first, but given the time, I hope you won’t mind having it after?”
“Not at all, Fawn.”
“That’s what I like to hear!,” Fanny affirmed as she helped her partner disrobe before throwing her arms around her and pulling her to bed.
