Seeing Ben Mendelsohn playing a young Rupert Murdoch in this Aussie/UK film called 'Black and White' last night, which I just caught the last 30 mins of (and it's not on vod dammit 😰). Also Robert Carlyle, whom I haven't seen in anything for ages it seems 😱
Just caught the trailer for the Netflix series "Safe", which I was originally keen on because Michael C Hall (with a Brit accent!). Then found out that Amanda's in it (ugh), and thought I saw a kissing scene with her and Michael (more ugh). Still think I'll end up watching for Michael though, I've missed him too much from those Dexter days 😉
Looking at a few conventions happening here over the next few months. One of them up in a couple of weeks is Supernova, and they've got Peter Capaldi, John Barrowman, Pearl Mackie and Tom Welling attending. I'm tossing up whether I'd want to fork out $100 for the awkwardness of getting my The Thick of It book signed while (practically) everyone else deals in DW, and having to keep quiet about the show :/
After catching Identity Thief on TV a few weeks ago, and Game Night yesterday at the movies, I'm thinking my low key crush on Jason Bateman is flaring up again 😅
