I was asked:
What would be your favorite place to live?
Scotland, definitely Scotland. It is such a beautiful place, and I always feel like I am going home when there.
How many OTPs do you have?
Not that many really. Let me see… Ten/Donna, TenII/Donna, Peter/Donna, Hardy/Donna, Peter/Nellie, Chris/Dorothy, Mr Logan/Ms Postern, Hardy/Sarah... you might have noticed a distinct Tatennant pattern here. ;)
And which one out of all of those is your favorite?
My favourite will always be Ten/Donna, hands down.
Do you consider yourself more of a “morning person” or a “night owl”?
My perception of myself in this regard has dramatically altered in recent years. I was always a morning person, but for the last 5 or 6 years I have been a night owl. It was pretty weird to flip like that.
If you could have superpower what would it be?
If I’d have known that I already had invisibility back when I was a teenager I’d have had more fun with it; but perhaps I could become Super Nanny and stop all those idiot parents doing their children untold damage.
Have you ever been in any relationships or are you single?
I’ve had the grand total of two boyfriends in my life, and I ended up marrying the second one. Not too bad, considering I never even thought I’d get a boyfriend in the first place.
Do you prefer to be alone or with people?
I like doing both; and the teaching job I chose allowed me to be both at the same time, in a way.
Hypothetically or literally, would you being willing to kill someone or people if YOU thought they were considered “bad”?
No. Being “bad” is never a reason or excuse to kill someone. We are all full of light and shade; and I hold on to the belief that we can all be redeemed in some sort of way. In fact I don’t think I would have been able to do my job properly if I was so dismissive, and have always looked for the hidden good in people.
And do you think it would be morally right to do so?
It only becomes morally right to kill someone during a war and if you are on the winning side, apparently. This whole topic was often debated when I was younger, the whole corporate punishment thing, and I still don’t believe execution solves any problem apart from satisfying social revenge.
What’s your favorite color?
Blue is my favourite colour; somewhere between electric blue and navy blue.
What’s your “New Years” resolution?
Not to make bloody silly promises that I’ll break, basically. In other words, I don’t bother with New Year’s resolutions. My thinking is to do it straight away or forget it altogether.
