         “ i can’t figure out how to make this thing work... ” esme muttered to herself, frowning down at the miniature screen. everything she pressed led to somewhere that she didn’t want to be, and the frustration she felt was beginning to build up. “ i just want to download some fucking music, for zeus’ sake. ”

THE redhead sat quietly in the coffee shop. she liked time to herself. with all that had happened over the past few days .. her head was a mess. pippa had decided to get out for a bit. it was only moments ago that she had been working on a small project. but now - her attention was fully on the person beside her. they were just so ... nice to look at? aside from some OBVIOUS flaws on the surface. “ you know, I work at a makeup store. I can fix that--” her hand motioned to the other’s face. “--right up. ”

“wait ━━ !” olive requested, stopping abruptly in her tracks. her gaze jumped between the map in her hands and the scenery in front of them. they certainly didn’t match. she tightened the grip on paper, as if it somehow would make more sense that way. “the street we’re on has a dead end up ahead. i don’t think we’re gonna find what we were looking for down there..”

arriving to a new place and attempting to settle in was quite difficult for the brunette. she wasn't satisfied with the place and as much as she hated to admit it, but she was lost. or at least, she felt that way. however, with the expression on her face, she wanted to hide it well. it was the fact she wasn’t quite sure what to do. there were places to explore and things to figure out, but she wasn’t entirely interested in them considering this place was just temporary. ❝this place is nice and all, but i wouldn’t say i’m fascinated with it.❞ she let out a sigh before scratching the back of her head. this place was nothing compared to mount olympus and roxane was always going to think that. nonetheless, she was stuck here, unfortunately.

       "i found a few turtles while walking the shores this morning. they were kinda just chilling, so i sat beside them and sketched for a bit." penina grinned, holding out the drawing to the other person. "what do you think?"

“i think that i’ve officially got down the idea of having a phone. also, i think that i might have become attached to the app called instagram. i take good pictures though, so it’s not a total problem. here, check this one out. what do you think?”

freya had never experienced anything more unnerving than what she had endured over the past few days. her head still spun at the sudden halt in movement as the train stopped, and she couldn't seem to catch her breath. everything-- the swarm of strangers, the lack of familial presence, the entirely new world they'd just landed on, for zeus' sake!-- was too much for her. as someone who's interactions with the outside world only extended to the first twenty steps from her family's castle in arendelle, she was rendered absolutely helpless. she wasn't one for this-- her nerves couldn't handle so much change. she'd nearly fallen on her way out of the train. would have fallen, if she hadn't caught herself with the arm of the person nearest to her. a horrified gasp broke her (four day long) silence as she recoiled from them. "i-- s-sorry." she was pathetic. and now she was probably going to be beaten up for manhandling a stranger. she brought her earth book up to block her face, murmuring incoherently as she shut her eyes. maybe this could be like every other problem she's ever come across-- she could close her eyes and count until she'd successfully avoided it altogether.
