I haven’t worn a mask in years. They never felt like “me”, so I stopped trying to pursue that feeling. On a whim I got one in a trade. And I get it now. I fucking get it now. I looked in the mirror and genuinely saw myself for who I am for the first time. I almost started bawling on the spot. THIS is species euphoria. THIS is why therians wear gear.
