Title Tag Game
The marvelous @mvcreates came up with a tag game where you post your WIP chapter titles and explain as much or as little of them as you want. These are for Miscast Spells: The Styx Trilogy Book 1:

In which Emmaline is turned into a rabbit
Chapter 1: The Butler Did It
In which Bostwick commits a crime, and becomes a butler
Chapter 2: A Confusing Crash Course in the History and Economics of Styx
In which we learn very little about the history and economics of Styx
Chapter 3: A Bomb Scare?
In which a large bug accidentally sets off a bomb, but it’s okay
Chapter 4: Rare and Priceless Counterfeits
In which we encounter a magic map, a wishing stone, and some reasonably-priced memories
Chapter 5: Garden Variety Wyrms
In which our cast has a sleepover, but Bostwick’s not invited. Also, they almost die of smoke inhalation. Also, there are wyrms.
Chapter 6: Incantations, Explanations, Complications, and Charms
In which we learn Millicent’s deep, dark secret
Chapter 7: Concerning Clarence
In which Bostwick’s old roommate sweeps in, steals the show, then promptly exits
Chapter 8: The Forest of Infinite Horrors
In which Bostwick agrees to teach Millicent magic

In which we don’t learn Sebastian’s deep, dark secret

In which a small gremlin intentionally sets off many bombs, and it’s not okay

In which everyone is free to go... just not necessarily together
