Real World Fantasy Football
I started this blog back up after a year hiatus. I have been doing so well in my league and after being encouraged to start this back up, I thought I might. I need some input and would love to take on any scenario you have in your leagues.
Highlights of this year:
Drafted McCoy at #11
Picked up (and started) Julian Edelman Week 1
Picked up Kenny Stills (86 Yards)
Started Julius Thomas, who blew up.
The key is to look around and see the red flags. With Thomas, you have to think of how much Manning wants to throw to a TE on 2nd Down or at Goal to Go.....plus Julius Thomas is a freak. He played Basketball at Portland State and has the same body type as Gonzo and Gates. His only weakness is that he can't pass block.
If you were lucky like I was to get Edelman and Thomas before the hype, that means you should be in a good position to compete. However, TE had a great week 1, so it's hard to sell right now. I also have Gates, and that might serve to be a problem with my roster space. I need to move him. I think he's in for a good year.
