Tiffany walks slowly along the hallways of hospital. If there was one thing she hated about the human and the sea; it’s their common thing called Hospitals.
but she always somehow comes back here.
A crying woman by the bench right across the closed Emergency Room doors distracts Tiffany from her thought. She assumes the woman is about her age, maybe older.
"You have to save him, please" The woman pleaded to the ‘magician’ in the white coat. Tiffany’s gaze follows her hands and she only then noticed the huge bump on her belly.
There once was a time when the girl fell in love with a human; when she hung onto someone else’s life, found another reason to smile genuinely and to continue living that’s not of her family members.
But then life played the car crash card and fucked his memories up.
They’ve met in the park a year after Tiffany stepped foot on the Human world. it didn’t start like a fairytale, nor had it ended like one. The boy and Tiffany had more differences than similarities. For example: He liked giving Tiffany flowers, while Tiffany thinks it’s a waste because they’ll die anyway.
But it worked anyway. She had no idea how it did, but it did. They spent most of their time in the park, just sitting by the swing set and arguing about how unfair it was that birds can fly, but then he’ll retort something about how humans still have more perks.
The day of the crash, Tiffany rushed to the said boy. She’s waited, hours that turned to days until he finally opened his eyes once again. If things were right right then, he’d smile at her and tell about how weird the shape of the room is. If things were right then, he’d try to reach out for her hand and squeeze it with every ounce of his strength.
He looked at Tiffany with a confused expression.
"Who are you?" He then asked
Wrong. "The crash must have dealt serious damage to his memory. I’m sorry."
