One month on Contrave and Synthroid
I went to my doctor Monday, August 10th and had my TSH drawn. Doc wants to know if the Synthroid is helping. He is impressed at my weight loss, officially 18lbs to date. We both are excited for this change. I’m starting at one month because I decided to do this digest late, but also because many great books start randomly and then give you history. I’ll do that do - just not yet. I’ll have to backdate that stuff because I wasn’t even sure I’d have any success either. I mean, what could be different? Every other diet didn’t work, so would this new medicine help? It certainly has for me. I haven’t experienced any of the negative side effects. I also feel much better in general. I’ve been half-assed getting exercise, but that’s just because I’m lazy. I’m sure that will change as I try harder. My clothes definitely feel looser and many people at work are certainly cheering me on. One in particular is our Employee health nurse. She’s sweet, loud, and clogs. There’s a hell of a combination. Why didn’t I ever take up clogging? I remember watching cloggers as a kid, and I have no problem with the idea of wooden shoes. Oh, that’s right… I didn’t have many hobbies as a kid. Nintendo? That was about it. We were poor, but not that poor when I could have had a hobby. Speaking of childhood, I think it’s completely strange when people can recall things from a young age? I don’t remember much of anything prior to age 5.. And I certainly don’t remember much anything after that. Bits a pieces here or there. I cannot remember feelings or places or things I did daily. Is that weird? Okay. Whatever. More blogs to come. This was the first. I’ll add more historical data and facts because we have already established that I won’t remember much of it after a month or so. So I better get it penned out as soon as possible. Where to begin? How about July 1st, 2015 - the first day I saw my new doctor.
