Actual "cage-free" chickens. And a cameo of Charles the cat at the end lol. Fun fact, the industry requirement to use the words "cage free" is preeettttyy soft. It means they are not permanently restricted to cages, which has loopholes. 🧐 This can mean something as simple as a doggie door style entrance that many of the chickens won't even use, so they rarely, if ever, go out walking around eating bugs, plants, and seeds like a normal chicken would. 🤯 The minimum requirement of space for a chicken is something like 8 inches by 8 inches, basically enough room to stand up and lie down and spin in a circle, so the living conditions can become stressful. Can you imagine standing on a New York sidewalk all day every day? How about having a baby on one? Do you think you and the baby would be in ideal health?
