The waiting game. I am not good at it. I am downright bad at waiting. I have no patience. I pace. I get crabby. My anxiety goes through the roof. Today and tomorrow, we will receive 3271 plugs ... including these rose shade snapdragons. Now ... the number of plugs is not a big deal. The weather is. I really want to get some of these in the ground before it starts to rain. And we could get wind and storms this evening. And they may have to sit as the garden dries out. But ... they have to get here. Do I plant as fast as I can? Do I wait? Where do I put 25 flats? Yea. You need to remind me of this day .... next September when I am ordering. What do you do when your daughter calls you while you are at work and asks you to drop what you're doing, take her car, drive 30 minutes one way to shut off the heat lamp in the barn that the foolish birds knocked over so the barn doesn't burn down? Why you say yes of course! This is the spot in the straw. I turned off the heat lamp and moved it then poured water on the embers.
