Snow is back again and it’s getting tiresome :)
After a few days planning French vegan festivals and trustee meeting, I am back to more snow. Horses just fed, dogs walked and now an icy drive to get animal feed this morning. Bracing to say the least. Let’s hope this is the last of the snow for the year, although we have been known to get snow the first week of May in Weardale
Car dug out of the snow drift from last week’s lovely weather. Roads all clear to go and get plenty of animal feed, then another run for vet checks and more feed. All set now for the NORTH EAST VEGAN FESTIVAL tomorrow at the Stadium of Light - see you all there
So lovely to show one of our amazing stallholders Nobia around the rescue centre today. Thank you Nobia for making the effort to come so far to see the animals. Your kicking ginger drinks are amazing and we look forward to seeing you at the next festivals.
After a busy weekend at the Greater London Vegan Festival, it was lovely this morning to see deer in the field below Farplace when walking the dogs first thing. There were 5 in total but only managed this quick snap of them.
Great day yesterday at the 2nd SOUTH WEST VEGAN FESTIVAL
A packed day at the brilliant PASSENGER SHED venue with superb talks from Sea Shepherd and Hunt Monitors, stalls galore, kids play area and so much support from local vegans for the festival,all to help Farplace Animal Rescue
Thanks to everyone for all your support - and nice to have other vegan festival organisers Tim from Vegfest and Kevin from West Midlands Vegan Festival both there meeting us.
