Fasque Castle
Fasque Castle is located in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The baronial mansion was built in 1809 for Sir Alexander Ramsey to replace an earlier home on the property. The castle stands three stories with a taller central tower and lower wings. In 1829, the estate was purchased by Sir John Gladstone who became the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. Gladstone served as the Prime Minister four times and the castle was utilized for cabinet meetings. The castle was purchased by the new owners in 2010 and refurbished. The estate is available for exclusive use and often serves as a wedding venue. The castle sleeps 38 people and has 19 bedrooms, a bar, a large reception room, a dining kitchen, a billiard room, and terraces. Fasque Castle sits on 400 acres and boasts a walled garden, a church that seats 100 guests, four self-catering cottages that have 2-4 bedrooms, and the stables, which was converted into a six-bedroom home with a courtyard and gym.
