(Or, my dsmp ideas cause I’m a fucking angsty gremlin)
So, because Motherinnit exists in canon as the Goddess of Life, this points to the conclusion that Fatherinnit could very well exist in canon also (though we’ve yet to see him).
My thoughts on this are as follows:
The DSMP operates according to the whole “to obtain, something of equal value must be lost” concept.
As a result, whenever Motherinnit creates a life, another life of equal value must be taken by Mumza.
When she was creating Tommy, however, she misjudged something.
Because Tommy is quite literally, the Son of Life herself, it isn’t just any Tom, Dick, or Harry who’s life can be considered equal to his.
In fact, at the time, there was only one mortal whose life could be considered equal:
The Angel of Life; Fatherinnit.
So, by creating Tommy, she ultimately (and unintentionally) killed Fatherinnit. As such, she’s been frantically trying to find a way to revive Fatherinnit without hurting Tommy.
Tommy also does not know about this.
