She couldn’t help but to laugh. “Dear, if you wanted coffee, you could have just said so.” Kali wasn’t certain that cinnamon would save over sugared coffee, but it was worth a try. At the very least her husband tried.

Winter gave her father a blank stare. That had to be one of his weaker attempts at offending her. That or she was simply so used to them that it no longer held any sort of impact on her.
“I am surprised you didn’t do that when you cut me off years ago.”
‘ HEY——— pssssst. . . . TAI !! ‘ a slur drunken nonsense is all that follows: ‘ you gotta—— you gotta relax, bro. there’s NO WAY my sister’s gonna like ya if you keep worryin’. ‘ he takes another swig before breaking into hysterics, practically buckling over with laughter.

Dojan was in no way sneaky--a man of his stature and skill set was never made for stealth, and thus, took no stride in such. Yet, what did it matter when upon the land of Menagerie? Each step of his stride was practically that of a march, not one missed, and not even the slightest stumble in his footing. Hues that swirl with bleakness are shrouded by the slits of his mask alone, a mask he adorned with pride, and yet--...scarred fingers are reaching up, removing the piece, and tucking it away into his vest for secure keeping.
It was not often--if at all--that the adder bared his fangs, allowed rough features adorned by forked scaring to witness sunlight, but in the instance, it was endorsed. Passing stalls and crowded streets, it wasn’t exactly DIFFICULT to miss the mass of a fur collared man, given his stature and symbol of the island.
Calculated steps pause in time, and next, comes that slithering voice; low and gravely, yet holding an uncharacteristic lilt of politeness.
“Belladona, Sir.”
Kisses Kali's cheek. [from Ghira]
“Good morning, dear.”
Is it to early to think about Halloween costumes?" [From tai]
A small tilt of her head, Summer frowned. “How complicated of a costume? Anything time consuming we should start now, don’t you think? I could get something thrown together....” Now she was smiling and excited. “What did you have in mind?”
She was already invested in the plan.
Isn't that sweather a little to big for you?" [Ghira to kali]
“Maybe.”
Kali sipped at her tea while her left ear flicked. She acted as if the oversized sweater was nothing new, but she was using her tea cup as a means to hide her smirk.
“Though, it shouldn’t be surprising. It is yours, you know.”
