Secrets of the Fatiha Attributed to Imam ar-Rifai, may his secret be sanctified. Read Surah Fatiha 11 times daily, in the morning, for clear ilham (inspiration). 21 times daily, in the morning and the evening, to cause the heart to solely rely on Allah. 41 times daily, in the morning and the evening, to receive support from Rijal al-Ghayb. 51 times, to illuminate the inner being (sirr). 61 times, to make firm your steadfastness upon Allah’s path. 71 times, to make it easier to be vigilant and awake, and to repel Satanic whispers. 81 times, to cure all diseases of the nafs. 91 times, to cause the light of dhikr to be firmly implanted within the heart and soul. 111 times, to keep constant hudoor (presence) on the path to Allah. 221 times, to overcome hawa (desires), crush Shaytan, and be freed from all that causes estrangement from Allah. 331 times, to receive fayd (spiritual emanations) from the Prophets and Messengers, peace be upon them all. 441 times, to receive divine gifts from Allah before Fajr (Sahar). 551 times, to receive fayd (spiritual emanations) from Khidr, peace be upon him. 661 times, to understand secrets from the Qur’an. 771 times, to strengthen one’s resoluteness in following Sharia, praying Tahajjud, and remaining consistent with dhikr. 881 times, to cause the heart to swim in Allah’s lower worlds. 991 times, to obtain support from the living men of Allah’s presence (present-day Awliya). 1,031 times, to reach true fana (annihilation) and baqa (permanence) in Allah, and the highest happiness. It can also be read 91 times, and sent as a gift to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, seeking help with any need related to dunya or akhira. 100 times, daily, to pay off a debt. 200 times, to make any goal easier to obtain. 300 times, to conquer enemies. 400 times, for victory in every aspect of life. 448 times, to strengthen the body and soul. 500 times, to protect wealth and family from all evil. 600 times, to receive divine help. 700 times, to undo an enemy and disband their strength. 800 times, to be protected from Sihr, from the tricks of magicians, and from the filth of those who innovate and have gone astray. 900 times, to be safe from all kinds of illness and disease. 1,000 times, to increase Rizq and social status. 1,100 times, to increase one’s majesty (haybah) in front of people. 1,200 times, to destroy an enemy. 1,300 times, to be saved from all evil. Once a day, or whenever needed, to save the reciter from being in need of anyone. Twice, to get a pleasing answer when asking someone something. (Such as when asking someone to do a favour). Thrice, to be received with favour. (For people to be happy to receive you, not upset to see you). Four times to repel Satanic whispers. Five times to be saved from oppressors.
