The Birds Under the Bridge

This mural by FATSPATROL was just featured in The Globe and Mail (look for “The artists behind the city’s street murals”.  It took her about a week to do it back in 2017 and there is still on-going work on other murals by other artists.  It is located under the Gardiner Expressway, just east of Cherry Street and accessible from the Lower Don Trail.  It is really lovely and worth a visit.

First big piece since I got to Toronto 3 months ago, big thanks to @lakeshorearts @start_streetartoronto and my mate @d.no.saur.us for making sure I submitted a proposal for this! Home is so many places these days as I still live between 2 countries, but you have moments with people ... and sometimes it's enough to feel like you're exactly where you're supposed to be. That's what this week was with @rowdyradrat , Cody and Jay. There's a lot of reasons I painted a giant eagle in this spot but sitting there watching them skate the nipple over and over again, that was the story in the end. It's them.
