a VERY specific gimmick Yomi but hear me out:
Designated food disposal Yomi. She works at a weird little "Eco-friendly zero food waste" cafe, running (waddling) around and taking care of customers' leftovers, and it all goes into her gut... She even wears a cute white t-shirt with an arrow pointing down saying "ECO-FRIENDLY FOOD DISPOSAL"... it's cute, even if by the end of the day she's bloated like a tick, the clients just keep coming and there isn't a moment when she isn't full and sluggish...
// Oohhhhh I love weird and cute ideas like this-
A certain local cafe prides itself on its lack of trash cans, the fact that they're eco-friendly and use only ethically-sourced ingredients being a major selling point. They never use plastic utensils and straws or paper wrapping so they don't produce unnecessary waste. But new customers are often confused on what to do if they can't finish their meals, since they don't see any receptacles to throw their leftovers away in. Staff will helpfully inform them that a receptacle does indeed exist, and gesture towards the massive pink girl tipping a plate to her mouth to let the scraps fall right in.
Yomi doesn't care that her whole job revolves around eating whatever patrons weren't able to finish. She gets so much free food that she doesn't even have to bother going on a lunch break! And she doesn't mind that she's left with the remains of meals that aren't nearly as fresh as when they came out the kitchen. Food is food, and the gluttonous girl will scarf it down with fervor! And it helps knowing that she's contributing to reducing food waste!
A typical work day revolves around her waddling around the cafe's perimeter (with plenty of breaks to catch her breath), waiting for the next customer to request her services. Clad in her 5XL T-shirt with a big fat label, the blob mostly does her own thing, disconnected from the business of other employees. In fact, most of the staff haven't bothered to learn her name, only referring to her as the Food Disposal; it's a nickname Yomi's learned to answer to.
Even though she's only consuming the lesser halves of meals, when the pinkette is finishing off hundreds of leftovers in a day, the calories really pile up. Half a bowl of pasta here, a few bites of a sandwich there, and before she knows it, Yomi's gut is all taut and red, weighing her down as she attempts to lumber towards the next plate that needs cleaning. She'll have slowed down considerably since the start of the day, fighting against her body's instinct to rest so she can fulfill her duties as a food disposal. Her coordination sees a decline as well, fuzzying Yomi's brain enough that she'll accidentally bump her flabby rear into unsuspecting customers. Since there's no trash bins, there's nowhere else for it to go but down Yomi's gullet, and she'll push the limits of her capacity if it means swallowing it down and helping the environment...
When the day's come to an end, Yomi's driven home in the back of a truck, rubbing her overstretched gut and belching every few seconds, relieving pressure so she'll be ready for tomorrow's shift-
