her movement come to a halt as she notices berkut talking with one of the nobles or rather listening to an one-sided monologue. it doesn’t take long for her to recognise the noble, after all, they held a reputation of doing just about anything in order to gain favour from the royal house. while he may not display it she could definitely notice that berkut was looking for an excuse to cut the conversation short perhaps she could aid him with that, but how is she going to do that?
she gives it a thought before thinking of a (in her eyes bold) solution, but it certainly would do no harm. carefully she makes her way over and offers the noble a nod accompanied with a small smile, ❛ excuse me, but may i borrow lord berkut from you? the king wishes to speak with him, ❜ which is a blatant lie but no one needs to know that. obviously the noble obliged and allowed them to be on their way again.
once out of sight she gently steers her fiance to the hallway that doesn’t lead to the throne room which obviously results in a questioning look from the other. ❛ he didn’t ask for you to come to the throne room, ❜ she reveals and offers him a gentle smile, ❛ but you looked like you could use a little help, ❜ despite being one herself she knows that nobles can be terribly persistent. / @faustiaen
