Hi! I feel like I should be idk framing your artwork or something. The way you blend visuals with words is incredibly well thought out - you have a fantastic sense of how to use space in your works that I really don't see often. There's a wispy, almost dream-like quality to what you design. It all flows beautifully. I saw your speedpaints but it still feels like magic to me haha.

In addition to making me emotional from art about characters I love, your pieces are just always compositionally stunning. I hope you feel good about them. :)

Hi!! I was scrolling through your blog and your art inspired me to write a little something. If I could trace my train of thought, I would (I was reading a book called A History of Reading, which may have actually fueled this writing more as well, but your art actually made me want to write down the swirling thoughts).

I feel as though I owe it to you to share it, since you were the one to inspire me!

"Reading is an oddly intimate affair, isn't it.

When I read, I feel the same way as I do when I make or witness art. It's like, a connection to the universe with an extra step, as though the author is holding my hand as the lead up up a pathway made of starlight.

Here are words written by a person who has never known me, and they have touched me nonetheless.

Here are ink words that will touch your soul. "Here, sit, listen. I have a story to tell you-" the author says to you every time you open a fanfic or a classical novel. The message is the same."

And maybe I've romanticized it a bit, but what's life with a little flair?

Hey, thanks for the comic. I needed that. The sunset imagery, footsteps on a beach which will be erased in moments, but mean so much more than it's temporary existence. Stains on your hands, on cloth, temporary to the sight but permanent to the psyche. The little things that will stab you every now and then, threatening to cause you to stumble and fall.

But also, getting up from that. Taking a step forward through the pain, because maybe the light at the end of the tunnel is worth it. Maybe the stains can give way to new paintings. A brighter smile awaits at the end of the road.

it reached you :,)) I'm glad it helped!! and wow... your writing is so good ToT this message is so beautiful I felt like clutching my chest while reading it ;w; there's just something so magical and unreal seeing my work leaving ripples that push people to interpret or create something out of it... thank you so so much for this.

Pain and frustrations and struggles and sufferings... they are inescapable, but experiencing and sometimes succumbing to them doesn't make us worth any less for the light that follows after the storm. "Maybe the stains can give way to new paintings." I love that line! (I'm saving it!!!! <3) Sometimes, temporary things feel like they will last forever, for better or worse. I've come to realize that there are way more temporary things in life than constant ones. But, just like how no sunsets are ever the same even if they are a constant thing in our everyday lives, we are an ever-changing "always". Looking back, the past-me could never imagine what present-me is at right now. We may not be walking in line with our plans, but hey, nobody plans what a sunset should look like even if they know it's gonna happen, right? That doesn't mean the sunset is uglier or should be appreciated less! (I hope my rambling is making sense oops)

Sorry if this message got too long ><;; I've been seeing your kind words for a while now and they make my day brighter too! It's always fun and encouraging to visit the notes you guys leave behind. this is a positive ask i promise do not be afraid. being taken out back and shot point-blank in the head would hurt less than reading your most recent dazai comic (positive connotation). your style and coloring are so unbelievably beautiful and soft and vivid and its so bright and light and it conveys the message of hope in the most amazing way possible. also the dialogue (monologue?) got me clawing at the walls and then i read your tags and started chewing on the walls (positive connotation). like imagine going outside (my dash) and a stranger (reblog from a person i dont follow) comes up to you and shows you the most breathtaking sunset or sunrise you have ever seen and the sun also just deadass talks to you and says that maybe the pain is neverending, but the joy is too. and maybe the pain wont be worth it, but the joy will. and the stranger just gives you thumbs up. i dont know how to convey that reading this comic did to my brain but lets say that i did not except dazai osamu from the hit show bungo stray dogs from the hit concept Real Life rewiring it. thank you for the hug i am in fact kissing you on the mouth platonically. sorry for this big ass wall of text in the inbox and not the tags but just know that i would send you this telepathically if i would with sound effects and presentation slides included. have a good day and a picture i think is somewhat funny in this context

omg... this made me smile so much, I don't know what to say... I've been in and out of the dark lately so I barfed out some drabbles and decided to slap it on Dazai, because, honestly, I find it easier to explore my own emotions when I project(?) them on a fictional character oops. I'm so glad my work reached you, dear beautiful and wonderful stranger on the internet <3 I'm holding your hand and chanting with you "let's live on!! we're gonna live on!! we're gonna see a hundred and a thousand more sunsets and sunrises." thank you so much for your kind words, they absolutely made my day when I thought it's gonna be not so bright today TwT it really means a lot to me. That's the thing about the sun, isn't it? We tend to focus so much on the sunrise and sunset, the scorching pain and the comforting warmth that sometimes when the cool darkness of the night comes, we think that it's all over, we won't feel them ever again... we forget that there are thousands of other mini suns-- beautiful stars whose light travel so many lightyears away, waaaay more than our sun, to reach us and cheer us on for the next day. I hope that the joy finds you amidst the pain. I hope your night sky isn't as cloudy as before.
