Although I may shorten Heart Palpitations to HP cause the former is a bit long to type out for a pen name. I now dub myself at HP Anon. Also I saw the post you reblogged about the poem I Sing the Body Electric so I'm starting there in my quest to delve back into my love for literature.

That makes me wonder if you were doing something in English/American/World Lit/Lit-Crit before? My interest in Whitman has been more personal and quite recent, and in academia I haven’t gotten to that time period or to free verse in general yet (currently focusing on metaphysical poetry). Times like this I feel very happy, I also had someone a while ago who said I inspired them to write again after a long dry spell… and being able to give life back to what died or lay dormant, that’s a beautiful thing.
