today I will be playing In Stars And Time, my favourite game of all time. spoilers ahead, go play the game before you read this post, please. it's a great game. the bookclub thing is just acts one and two, and I'm replaying the game from the start, but I've played the game a few times already, so I'll probably mention some stuff from beyond acts one and two.

I'm like two seconds in and Siffrin is already so relatable. I love this game. Siffrin is such a little fella.

so, if the bookshelves in the Castle-Loving One's house are all full of books from The Cursing of Chateau castle, then either the Castle-Loving One has multiple copies of each book or the series has 113 books (not including the one the Castle-Loving One didn't get to read or the books hidden in their bed).

"yes, I like going into strangers' homes." is not something I was expecting Siffrin to say, even though I've played this game multiple times. but it does sum up what I've been doing in the game so far.

if entering just the first room of houses is okay, why do all these townsfolk not just put their closets in other rooms of their houses? I wouldn't be snooping in your clothes if I didn't have access to them. also why does this lady and her wife have a (seemingly) wooden dresser right next to the stove?

there's a little note in the craft book, attached to the time craft page. I wonder if that was Loop?

I haven't talked to them in a while, but I still feel the need to mention that an old friend of mine was horrible at rock paper scissors the whole time she was playing ISAT lol.

the oh so dangerous banana peel. "this is just a banana peel" Siffrin says, not knowing what their future entails.

Bonnie is the best chef cooker of happiness!

"breaking traditions is also part of the change belief" so Mirabelle's not changing is a great way of adhering to her faith! she broke the tradition of housemaidens changing a lot!

Siffrin got bonked.

little mental breakdown, nothing to worry about, everything's fine. just got time looped. all good.

"smart and normal words, GO!" is pretty much what my brain does in every social encounter.

Loop kicking their feet is so cute!

Siffrin is already so annoyed with themself Loop.

Siffrin has no idea what they're in for. they think the time looping is good for them, a way to fix their mistakes. they don't know about the trauma.

"have you tried Not Dying???"

pineapple allergy mentioned! so excited to disregard that.

all done for now! I really love this game and I'm really glad to have a reason to play again.

edit: had edit because my autocorrect is mean and turned "time looping" into "time pooping".

Hi there. This is a different kind of post than normal for me. This isn't silly/jokey at all.

I just beat the game Signalis.

For those of you that may not know what Signalis is, well simply put, it's a psychological horror game where you try and keep a promise.

I have never gotten choked up even the slightest bit because of a game before. Rarely because of movies and TV shows.

I was fucking sobbing during the end credits.

I had chills during multiple segments and cut-scenes.

I am a game dev student and I can only dream of making a game this good.

I have no criticisms.

I will be remembering this day. I beat Signalis for the first time on the night of my 20th birthday.

Signalis is my favourite game of all time.

Go play Signalis.
