Actual depiction of me going into the Sharon tag to see what theories people have of what’s going on with her and half of it is people going “I think she’s actually the Power Broker!1!!!1!!”
ARE YOU ALL FOR REAL?! She’s not even anywhere near any men, can y’all stop theorizing she’s a villain for 5 minutes?! Did you not learn your lesson from when she got so much hate that Marvel went “people hate Sharon, guess we’d better write her out!” and then derailed Steve AND Peggy’s entire character arcs as a result?!
Anyway, based on her sweet living situation this episode it seems like she didn’t actually get Dusted. She was either VERY off-the-grid from being on the run, or extremely undercover and the Avengers (or whoever gave them that info) mistook that for her being Dusted. That much stuff and climbing up the ladder that high would take more than 2 years to acquire. Anyone have any theories on what’s really going on with her? Think she really is on the run like she said to Sam, or did anyone else feel like that last scene implied she’s deep undercover? But if she is, what could her mission be, and any thoughts on how it’s connected to the rest of the show? Could she still be working for the CIA? SHIELD? Helping the Flag Smashers? Something else entirely?
Either way, the fact that Sharon didn’t get Dusted and the Avengers thought she did, and that’s it’s very plausible that she was on the run for 7 years and nobody thought to look for her at any point makes the Avengers and Steve in particular (continue to) look real crappy. This is just another reason Marvel writing Sharon off because she got hate was a disservice to MANY characters all at the same time.
