This particular deli always seemed to bustle during lunch hour, but Olive didn't care to go elsewhere. As much as the crowd gave her a headache, she'd rather be here than the usual quiet place a block down. While Olive would deny that she was paranoid, that was basically all she had been since the latest texts from FALCON.
Still, she chose not to let anyone know about her particularly shitty weekend. Ellis was the sole person who knew what she'd received, and he was the only one he'd trust with any of that information. She'd even kept Mia's death under wraps, yet not talking about it to someone was unnerving. Here was her life tearing itself apart again.
Picking at her sandwich, Olive checked the door over and over again until she finally caught sight of her friend coming in. "Fay," she called, waving her over. If there was one person she genuinely liked at work, it was her. The others were okay, but she and Fay at least knew each other before she ever began working for Stark Industries.
