i love Mrs. McCarthy because she is simultaneously a huge scaredy cat but also ready to fight anyone at any time (especially when her friends are in danger)

i love Mrs. McCarthy because she is simultaneously a huge scaredy cat but also ready to fight anyone at any time (especially when her friends are in danger)
a little nervous about maeve not coming back or even being mentioned. maeve is so great and i really want to see more of her. she and sid also have a lot of potential together, and sid working and living on the boat is literally perfect for him. He gets to explore and see the world while also having a thriving home life/found family.
(not saying I don’t want to see him again, like he can visit alone and say that maeve had work or something, i just don’t want the show to forget about her. just hearing that she’s doing well and leaving the door open for her to return would be enough for me.)
i feel like sid embodies that one john mulaney bit where he personally will walk around all day making fun of Catholicism/Christianity but the minute someone else is like “who would believe in a fairy in the sky?” he just
If you have to post literally every day about how all the people around you are causing drama in your life... you are more than likely the problem.
