Police officer! Steve and Robin bribing FBI Billy and heather with bear claws from a local pastry shop to get them to help on a case.

They hate that they to ask one of the smuggest assholes in the FBI, but they have no choice. Heather easily accepts, but just to be asshole Billy politely declines them (even though they’re favorite) and takes the last chocolate dougnut that usually goes to Steve.

Steve gets him back for it later though by drinking the last of the coffee in the break room before billy could get to it.

The whole dapartment would watch with amusement and annoyance as these two keep fucking with each other.

I just thought of something, Tommy being a private investigater and he runs into Billy and Steve who are working on the same case that he is.

“What the hell are you doing Hall? You’re not a real detective or anything.” Billy says

“I’m a private I, asshole.”

“Again you’re not real detective.” And steve can’t believe he might have to deal with both Billy and Tommy.

They all end working together. Steve is the resourceful one of the group, Billy is the brains and Tommy is a wildcard.

They do stake outs, stop at diners to look at evidence and get themselves into trouble when they break a little bit of the rules.

When Hopper has to deal with them he’s like “why is it when something happens it’s always you three?”

FBI Billy and cop Steve in hop’s office, discussing how Billy is going against protocol again and because of that they can’t talk to a jailed suspect.

“I don’t understand, I was asking basic questions, I don’t think that’s going against protocol.” Billy argues.

“Maybe not, but I think manipulating the supsect is.” Hopper says gruffly “I didn’t do that.”

Hopper looks at the report on his desk and read it. “The suspect quoted that you were fucking with his head.” Billy only smirks “chief no one has to fuck with his head, considering it’s already fucked.”

Hopper sighs and looks to Steve “he can’t say anything to anyone without pissing them off can he?”

Steve also sighs and shakes his head “unfortunately chief, no.”

So Steve is stuck with Billy for the rest of the day while they’re on their case. The last thing Steve needs is his boyfriend getting killed by a criminal because he can’t keep his mouth shut.
