Marlon Santos to continue at FC Barcelona
FC Barcelona have taken up the option to keep Marlon Santos at FC Barcelona for the next three seasons. The Brazilian is a key part of Gerard López's Barça B team, having played 24 matches last campaign. His impressive displays led to him being called up to the first team by Luis Enrique, and was handed his debut in the Champions League against Celtic. He also featured in La Liga, filling in for Gerard Piqué for the last two matches of the season and completing the full 90 minutes of each.

In turn Vicky Lopez is among the 15 candidates for the first edition of the Golden Girl Award, being the youngest to feature in the list of the most promising talent in Women's football.
The final lists for each award will be determined on October 15th when a Jury of 40 journalists make their votes to shorten the list from 40 to 20 finalists (Golden Boy) and from 15 to 10 finalists (Golden Girl)

Alexia on her way to the Hospital to undergo the more tests in order to determine the extent of her injury.

Alexia Putellas underwent a successful surgery to repare the ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee. The surgery took place at the Hospital de Barcelona.
The estimated time of recovery is between 10 and 12 months.
