JACQUES “JACK” TREMBLAY looks an awful lot like DANIEL LISSING. HE is THIRTY and while they’re COURAGEOUS, they have a tendency to get pretty SECRETIVE. You’ve probably seen them around Kola listening to NEVERLAND by DARREN HAYES.
TW: murder, death, mental illness (schizophrenia), drug use - for said mental illness, if that counts & a brief mention of self-harm))

HEADLINE: JEAN-PAUL BAUDELAIRE, MURDERER IN THE CANARY MASSACRE, CONSIDERED TO BE “NOT LEGALLY RESPONSIBLE DUE TO MENTAL ILLNESS”
Anton Baudelaire (hereby referred to as “Jack”) was born & raised in Montreal, Canada. He was the second youngest of two brothers & a sister, all of whom grew under the loving eyes of their parent. Over the first seven years of his life, Jack’s father — Jean-Paul Baudelaire — became increasingly erratic. Though they were, for the most part, a happy family, something was growing. Something dark and unpredictable. One day a young Jack came home to discover his papa had murdered their entire family. The boy only barely escaped his father’s blade. Archibald then went on a killing spree. This spree was dubbed by the public as the CANARY MASSACRE. His father was found not criminally responsible by reason of mental disorder. That was how Jack discovered his father suffered from SCHIZOPHRENIA.
He was then put into adoptive care. Though, Jack was never adopted and was frequently bullied by the other children at the orphanage due his connection with the mass murderer. At the age of fifteen he decided to run away. Jack was forced to fend for himself — he spent a year living on the streets. During this time, he came across a dead body in the woods. The boy was similar enough in age and likeness to the homeless orphan, so he deposed of the body in a secluded lake and took on a new identity. The corpse’s name was JACQUES TREMBLAY.
Following that, Jack joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, more out of desperation than patriotism. He served for a number of years, before opting to move out west, in the hopes that a less rigid lifestyle would assist him, emotionally. Also, because he was beginning to develop curious symptoms. Upon returning to normal life, he hitchhiked his way to America, using the last of his RCMP pay to put himself up in Kola. Jack soon became very close with the local Sheriff, and his former mountie training assisted him in scooping up the occupation of deputy sheriff. One of his first missions was to investigate a disturbance at CRENSHAW MANOR. Of course, he is now STUCK THERE and the mansion is seriously fucking with his head,
Around the age of twenty-five Jack began to realize he was exhibiting similar symptoms to those his father had had well he was growing up. Namely hallucinations, insomnia & depression. Upon seeing a psychiatrist Jack discovered that he also suffered from schizophrenia. Now that he’s stuck at the manor, he is unmediated and the VOICES are starting to come back. Jack is having a hard time tell what is real from what his mind creates. The worst thought possible always floating around in the back of his head — WHAT IF I’M THE KILLER?
PERSONALITY;
On the surface, Jack seems like a very outgoing and happy person. While this isn’t entirely untrue, he has become a master at hiding his more tortured feelings when they begin to surface. To most people, he is the kind and generous deputy sheriff who always has a smile on his face. Jack has a HUGE protective side and feels personally responsible for the well being of everyone around him. He’ll respond to any call for help, no matter how small. He gets along well with most, and has few enemies — save those who don’t follow the law. Jack is an extremely lenient and understanding person. He doesn’t like to stay idle, as he finds his thoughts wander to depressing places, so he always tries to stay busy. However, Jack is becoming increasingly unstable and paranoid the longer he stays in the manor. While he is not at risk of hurting others
