Lots of people were at the bar, some even dancing, which seemed out of place. Caroline would usually be up for it, but after so much time without her family, she just felt strange. Still, she was one to make the best of things. A coworker, James, caught her eye, and she figured, why not? The blonde offered up a friendly smile as she approached the other. “Hey,” she announced, waving with one hand. “You look like you might be as uncomfortable here as I am. Do you wanna—?” She pointed behind them, laughing a bit to herself. “Do you wanna dance, maybe?” | prompt: james and caroline dancing.

Anne had come up to the other professor to ask a question about one of their assignment— not that it was an urgent matter, but she had seen him in the hallway and he didn’t seem to be in a hurry, so she thought she’d take advantage of the moment. As she got closer she noticed the bags under his eyes and the slightly hunched shoulders, and she couldn’t help how she thrust herself forward to tug the older man into a tight hug. She enjoyed Professor Barnes’ classes, partially due to the subject matter, but also because he was simply a good professor. After a long moment she took a step backwards, a soft and slightly sheepish smile on her face. “I apologize sincerely if I’ve overstepped a boundary, Professor Barnes. It just seemed like you needed a hug, and in truth perhaps I needed one too. I’ve been a little on edge with the current missing student situation, and— well, I hope that you’re feeling a little better now.”

Random Headcanon Meme

⚡: How does your muse feel about storms? Are they afraid of them, or do they calm them?

Anne’s never been really all that afraid of storms, to be perfectly honest. There are scarier things in life than a little thunder and lightning, and there is something ethereal about the way they absolutely light up the sky. She can see why the ancients believed in the gods that they did— after all, who wouldn’t if they didn’t understand where such impressive things came from?

⚠️: How does your muse react to possibly dangerous situations? Do they face them head-on, or do they plan out their actions first?

Dangerous as in life-threatening? Anne faces them head-on. She acts on instincts and plans that are made in the moment that are based on her extensive knowledge. Sometimes she makes mistakes, but other times she’s a hero. But you live and you learn, eh?

CHAMPAGNE: does your muse drink (alcohol)? are they a heavy drinker, if so?

Anne does drink alcohol from time to time, although she is not a heavy drinker. She’s had some embarrassing incidents with alcohol, but she hasn’t been turned off of them for all eternity yet— although she does question why some people enjoy the taste of straight vodka or beer or whiskey so much. She much prefers mixed drinks because they actually taste good and are worth drinking.

BURNT UMBER: how stable is your muse, mentally and/or emotionally?

Anne is stable in a sense. She can sometimes have very intense reactions to things, and sometimes she’s as calm as can be. Her childhood prior to coming to Green Gables does still haunt her, although it’s been a couple of years, and time has lessened its hurts. Nevertheless, there are times when she’ll freeze up after hearing a baby cry.

olive: is your muse prone to feeling envious of others? if yes, what is it that they typically feel envious over? 

she’s not a naturally envious person, and never without cause. when she does feel envy, however, it’s likely linked to something she lacks. like a quality time with her family, being able to happily say she’s not struggling with the loss of her parents. essentially, hope’s envy is mostly linked to her trauma, and therefore, projected onto those who haven’t experienced what she has. ( although that also comes from believing when she opens up to people, they disappoint her. ) 

coral: what is your muse’s romantic and sexual orientations?

hope is bisexual and biromantic. her romantic and sexual orientations have never been something particularly important to her - simply put, she’s never really had that long to dwell on it. she likes girls, and she likes guys, but more importantly - she likes the person who isn’t going to let her down at the end of the day.

     daytime !  jess feels that there’s more opportunities during the day .  as in ,  she can do so much more while the sun is up !

☃  : what is your muse’s favorite season? what about their least favorite season, if they have one? 

     jess grew up in oregon ,  and then moved to los angeles .  it’s safe to say that summer is her favorite and winter is her least favorite .  she  HATES  being cold .

frost blue: does your muse enjoy the snow and cold? or are they the type to enjoy summer more?

     klaus definitely prefers warmer climates ,  but not quite summer .  think mid-spring !  he prefers warm ,  overcast days .

peacock blue: is your muse honest? what sorts of lies do they tell, if not?

     he  TRIES  to be honest ,  but when it comes to his past or his feelings he’s more likely to throw in a white lie .  they’re not things he enjoys discussing  at all .

“there’s things that are far scary than spiders out there!  but they were creepy as fuck, so yeah, i’m scared of them.”

“i was already given the chance.  if i could go back to 1968 again, maybe... i’d try to save dave.  or actually successfully go back to when i was a kid to help vanya, sure.”
