For the first time in her life, Felicia felt like she had every thing she could possible want.
It may not be completely true, maybe she felt this was before when she was a teenager, but for as long as she could remember there was a feeling of wanting that she could not scape from. Sometime it was a longing for someone she didn't have and some other times for things she wished to archive in her career; there was always something that could be improved and another reach to goal. The sensation moved her forward and gave her chances to keep being the best, one way or another. Everything on her way had made her stronger, more deathly and now... There wasn't anything she wished to archive.
Felicia was finally on the top. And she wasn't alone.
Her life had being a nightmare and a dream, then another nightmare, to finally settle in the dream of the life she deserved. Alexander had come to fit perfectly in her plans, providing her tools to get to where she wanted while giving her a support. No one knew her better than him and yet, he had no problem following her lines of thought. Whatever Felicia wanted, he was going to get her, and that was exactly what she needed in a partner. It was selfish, but she was convinced it was one of the things he liked more about her.
There was no pretense of her being in a princess, but a complete sureness that she could be the villain in the story if she had to.
With a secure career and a golden band on her finger, there was nothing else she wished to obtain. Now, however, it was time to keep things exactly the way they were. She was on the top and there would not be fall from there, not now or not ever. And for that, there was one time loose string that she had to deal with. One tiny little revenge she must perform, quietly and in the shadows. It was time she sent Alexander to do a little visit. In any way, he was meant for her father's blessing at some point, wasn't he?
