THAT SAID i actually am making progress again in SoV (made it to the top of duma tower with celica and finished a map or two with alm) so maybe i will get to that tempting third awakening playthrough soonish

so i tried getting back into working on SoV again and got to the third floor of duma tower but then boey died on that stair guardian battle so i had to start over, so after some grinding and promoting i gave it another shot and managed to get past that stair guardian (in which boey nearly died AGAIN, c’mon boey) and thought ok i’m just gonna scurry back down to the save point bc it’d suck to have to do this all over for a THIRD TIME, and halfway back down my game cartridge just... randomly popped out of my DS. ha.
anyway i’ve gone back to fates again and recruited selkie so my daughter kana can have a female friend (:
i’ve started playing SoV again and um question for act 4 celica’s path:
is it even possible to beat jedah in that swamp battle? am i supposed to do something silly like let him kill celica or whatever? bc he sure is nullifying all my attacks.
call me overly suspicious but i don’t think brushing off a message written in blood is in fact an especially good idea
celica is the most relatable lord
ooh yeah and i finally got the cipher characters! they’re cute, i like them. the only thing is it didn’t really cross my mind to actually choose which army to recruit them to, so both pairs are in alm’s army (the cursor happened to be on his side of the map when i went into the dlc) and in hindsight i really wish i’d recruited shade and yuzu to celica’s army, genny’s suffering as the sole saint on that side while alm’s army is currently drowning in them (i’d made faye a cleric soooo yeah). o well.
shout-out to warping witches always choosing fair targets like mages or archers instead of going straight for the armours
