I hate how people forget that becoming one being is a two way street. People act like I was dead and gone after merging with Byleth, but I died no more than she did. But because we stuck with her name, thats all anyone could think of us as.

I am seperate here now, but back then. It was both of us doing all of those things, and I stood by byleth, and with edelgard then. We made those choice together, we were one. I hate how its always treated as byleth alone.

Dedue, if you're out there I hope you know I share the sentiment entirely. I don't know happiness without you by my side.

I see you as my inspiration to continue on. I look for you in every person I meet. Whenever I achieve anything, all I can think about is the fact it would've been better if you had been by my side.

Without you, it's hard to feel faith in anything. I don't even have faith that you'll come home to me. So, just please have a good life. That's all I can bring myself to beg of you.

Sometimes, I wonder why, out of my source's seven canon routes, I had to be from the only one in which I spent months trapped in a living hell, reduced to little more than a puppet. I hope all my friends who defected to Faerghus were happy, and I mean that genuinely- I can't spite you for bailing from a sinking ship.
