pirate girlfriends for the halloween thing because i was summoned for it

Choses the pumpkin: Ada is very particular about which pumpkins they’re allowed to carve, they have to find the perfect one

Carves the pumpkin: Anais is super into the carving, though Ada lends a hand for some of it

Gets scared and clings the other in a haunted house: Anais totally just laughs at everyone and is very protective of her girlfriend, so whenever Ada jumps at something, her 5′5″ girlfriend steps in front of her to fight whatever it is

Matching costume idea: OH WHERE DO WE START. in all odds something fairly slutty. Either matching pirate outfits or Ada in a Navy girl outfit and Anais in a pirate outfit or something

Makes a cozy bed-fort to cuddle in: Ada is all about building them forts to curl up in

Steal’s the other’s candy: ANAIS THE DIRTY LITTLE PIRATE

Accidentally gets lost in a corn maze: Anais gets super enthusiastic and just charges in and starts taking corners, and then Ada follows her until they’re all turned around and spend the entire night wandering around together, and Ada points out her favorite constellations and sort of tries to get the right direction based off their position, but really she’s enjoying Anais’ arm around her waist and doesn’t really want to leave

Tells spooky stories to scare the other: Anais has heard lots of pirates’ superstitions and tries to scare her nice proper Navy girl, but it doesn’t work when Ada counters with even more pirate stories (and totally adds a ton of drama to the Isla de Muerta story and tries to use that)

Collects cool-looking leaves: Ada is super into plants and leaves and loves them and how they change color and she gets super into collecting them

i. Breathless, intense, and entirely new, neither knew what they were doing yet some how it felt completely natural when they fell together for the first time, incapable of being apart any longer.

ii. Laughter danced around them, their lips not quite matching up as they chased each other around the ship - jumping over obstacles and climbing through rigging, stopping just long enough to be caught before escaping once again.

iii. Possessiveness glared from her eyes at suitors flirting in taverns. Long, slow kisses screamed She is mine, daring any to try and come between them - one hand hovering near a sword hilt, the other wrapped firmly around her lovers waist. 

iv. Lazy mornings with sun streaming through cabin windows, curled up together their kisses whispered I love you without words.

v. Kisses stolen from the edge of consciousness, falling in love again as they watch their beloved slip into the peacefulness of sleep - careful not to wake the other as they leave for their shifts.

PIRATE GIRLFRIENDS. Hi darling <3

Yes ok, I am still amazed at how instantly the chemistry between Ada and Anais sparked, like even our first thread Ada was hopelessly smitten by Anais and I adore it. Anais has her totally wrapped around her finger and it’s wonderful. (I can’t hear Linger by The Cranberries without thinking about them)

I will never be tired of pirate girlfriends and plotting about them, there’s just a connection that is so wonderful and they’re so cute and honestly I spend more time thinking about them than I probably should. But they compliment each other so beautifully, they’ve got a lot of differences but they work together and compensate for the other and bring out the best in each other and it’s SO CUTE. I would say they’re basically the phrase “opposites attract” with their whole morning vs night, navy vs pirate (at first, until she gets corrupted) but they’ve also got the deeper base understanding of a desire for freedom and obviously being something other than entirely human so there’s more in common than appears on the surface.

They are totally going to rule the oceans together everyone fear them B))

Who’s the first to wake up in the morning:Ada for sure, Anais sleeps in soooo lateWho’s the one to make breakfast:I don’t think Ada is super fond of cooking, so she’ll try to wake Anais up and convince her to cook for themWho’s the one to serve the other breakfast in bed:If Ada actually made breakfast she would totally serve it to Anais in bed, but if Anais makes breakfast Ada would get up with her and go keep her company at the very least, and they’d just eat in the kitchen together.Who would suggest a quickie in the morning before work:If Ada weren’t ace she totally would, because she’s way more conscious in the mornings, but sometimes Anais wouldWho suggests they both ditch work to lay around all day:Anais totally would try her hardest to get Ada to ditch, and soomeetimes it would work.Who chooses the movies:They’re both really into romcoms so they’d both talk about which ones to watch, but if Anais wants to watch something else, Ada would totally let her choose.Who initiates kissing during the moving, thus distracting the other from the movie all together:*Ada glares at Anais because it was a super cute movie come on why wouldn’t you be watching it*Who orders lunch:AdaWho steals food from the other’s plate without asking:Anais is the pirate in this relationship (but also pirate GIRLFRIENDS so probably both let’s be real)Who curls up next to the other and falls asleep due to a full tummy:They’re both suuuper fond of taking naps next to/on top of each otherWho distracts the other from trying to work at home:They’re both awful at this, but they’re also both very proud of their ship and taking care of it, so they get a lot done if they’re both focusing on working.
