AT THE ALTER // A stunning alter is always a massive plus in my book, but you want to know what is even more critical than an alter dressed to the nines? Making sure you and your love are standing centered at the altar. It sounds like it’s not that big of a deal, and it often never gets thought about, but I’m telling you, as a photographer, I’ve seen many picture-perfect ceremonies get thrown off by the couple standing way too far to one side or another. Of course, as you walk down the aisle to promise forever to the love of your life, standing center will be the furthest thing from your mind. So what’s the fix? It’s simple, during your rehearsal, take a moment to mark your spot. Use a small rock, tape, coin, or whatever is on hand. Then on the big day, you will already have a mark. I promise adding this small, simple step will significantly improve your ceremony photos. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Photographer: @tiffanylongeway Venue: @unionhillinn Coordinator: @anoccasion DJ: @dj_jordan_clayton Invitations: @minted Dress: @mirabridalcouture @essenseofaustralia Hair: @braidedblondelocks Makeup: @beautybyteara Groom Attire: @josabank Florist: @anoccasion Caterer: @perfectdaycatering Cake: @partydesignsandcakes_bylili Rentals: @standardeventrentals Couple: @sydfeathers + Ralph #featherfingers (at Union Hill Inn, Sonora, Ca) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cn7fYJuPVgU/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
