If he’d been asked his preferences, Crow thought he’d want someone a bit more aggressive— but he can’t help but find you and your shyness absolutely adorable, and he’s completely smitten from day one. He’s not really the type to tease, but the way you get flustered so easily? The way your blush starts crawling up your neck and spreads until you’re red all over? The way you have to look away from him to compose yourself? God, he loves it.
He is incredibly protective of you. It’s not that he thinks you’re weak at all, but he’s well aware that you have trouble standing up for yourself sometimes, and what kinda boyfriend would he be if he let other people make you uncomfortable? He’s pretty good at reading you, so he can tell whenever a situation is getting to be a bit much for you. He probably won’t ever admit it to you, but any time you cling to him and he’s gotta defend you somehow. . . it makes him feel really manly.
Crow is used to taking insults and more than a few hits; when you overhear the end of an argument he’s involved in, he’s quick to assure you that it’s fine, it’s taken care of— but when you whirl on your heel to tell off the man who’d insulted him, Crow is utterly speechless. It took months before you’d been brave enough to hold his hand, but you can swear at a stranger like this at the top of your lungs—? He was utterly in love beforehand, but he’s head-over-heels now.
While he adores your shy and cute side, Crow is also relieved to learn that you’re not as fragile as he’d assumed. Granted, he’s still not going to leave you in any situations that you find uncomfortable, and he’s going to continue taking care of you— but it sets him at ease knowing that you’ve always got his back if he needs it.
