Question: How did you find the fandom? How long ago was it if you can remember?

Answer: Well, I actually found Thomas through my favorite singer, dodie. They did a duet and I immensely fell in love with his voice. I believe that was roughlyyyy 2 years ago? Maybe 3? Not sure.

Question: Whos your favourite side? (if you have one of course lol)

Answer: Ah that’s a toughy. At the moment, I’d have to go with Logan. He’s funny in a very dry-humor kind of way, which is always my favorite. That, and he’s such a softy.

Question: Whats your favourite ship?

Answer: Here lately I’ve been pretty partial to moceit, but logicality takes the cake.

Question: What made you want to do fanart for sandersides? What usually inspires you when you are drawing?

Answer: Actually, my first piece of fanart for sanders sides was logicality. After watching one of the videos I really liked their odd chemistry, so I drew it.

Usually I’m inspired by things that make me laugh or things that make me soft. If it’s cute, it’s likely that I’ll want to draw it lol

Question: Do you have any other fandoms you relate to the sides?

Answer: And not especially. I haven’t been in any other fandoms for a good while. But who knows! Maybe something will come up soon 😊

Question: Thats all i have for questions but is there anything extra you want to say?

Answer: If it’s okay, I would like to say that this community has been so incredibly healthy for me, what with all the sweet people I’ve met. I’m super glad I’m a part of it.

About 15 minutes ago I experienced something that goes right up there in happiness levels with when I got accepted into my dream college

5 days ago I posted this picture on Twitter, and stuck the #featuredfander hashtag on the post.

Now, you can imagine I was happy enough when Thomas SAW my tweet and replied to it.

But TONIGHT. Tonight I went to watch the new video- the April short video compilation- and to my utter shock and surprise, Thomas had made me FEATURED FANDER!!!

I literally have very few words to express my joy right now.

Okay, that’s a lie.

Thomas and his characters and friends have entertained me and kept me sane through these last few months as I finished high school and finally- finally- graduated, and to have this amazing gift bestowed upon me as I wait to leave for college- it just, it’s such an honor. Nothing else could compare.

Thomas has shown me that there is good in this world, that there are people out there who accept me for who I am and not anything else. As someone who is aromantic, asexual, and also nonbinary there is constant discourse about whether or not my identities are valid- whether or not I’m valid.

Because of that, Thomas is a rock. Not only does he believe that those identities are valid, he loves all of his fans and constantly helps to lift us up.

I honestly don’t know where this world would be without Thomas. He is a sun, he shines bright in the lives of so many people who are living in darkness. He makes us smile, he makes us laugh, and he makes us cry (for good reasons).

And to be seen and acknowledged by such an amazing person is- I literally don’t have the words to describe just how happy I am. I love you so much, Thomas. Thank you thank you thank you. You’ve helped me and so many other people in so many ways, and for that I will forever be grateful.

I drew this for the one and only @thatsthat24 Thomas Sanders because Steven Universe is my favorite show and I know how much it means to him so here are the sanders sides if they were in steven universe! I drew Roman like Jamie, Logan like Pearl, Virgil like Lars/Garnet, Patton like Peridot/Amethyst, and Thomas like Steven of course!! Merry Christmas Eve y’all! I’m gonna be hecking busy tomorrow bc work and a family party (that’ll probably give me social anxiety since my parents and brothers aren’t gonna be there lmao), but I just wanna say how grateful I am for all of you!
