"we're just friends" is such a lame response

like no, we aren't dating, but that doesnt mean we're JUST friends.

this person owns a part of my soul, they shape who I am and who I aspire to be, they are part of my very being.

I trust them like I trust my right leg to keep me upright every time I take another step forward, I love them more than a lover who yearns for their soulmate lost at see, I care for them better than I do my own body.

They have seen me at my best and loved me at my worst and stayed through all of it, as a listening ear, a supportive arm, a helping hand.

they understand me as if I am a nostalgic song they have listened to so many times they could predict every word, and I can read their facial expressions, body language, tone of voice like a childhood book I could recite by heart.

And the best part?? you can have more than one of these people.

massive music nerd (like huge), I play too many instruments, but flute is my main. Very extremely queer and proud of it!! I'm all the neurodivergents and a huge theatre kid. I'm catholic (yes you can be catholic and queer) I also have Erlos Danlos Syndrome which causes quite severe chronic pain, nausea and a bunch of other really fun health issues (yippee) and have a puppy who is literally my baby :D
