Feedback Post
We’d love to know how the PokéPod Project went for you this year! Good or not-so-good, your feedback will help shape the future of this event. Anything you’d like to share, we’d like to hear.
You can leave feedback as a reply on this post, via a tumblr ask (we won’t publish it), or by emailing [email protected].
Firstly, here’s what we plan to change for the next round:
Rules addition: No generative AI use.
Clarifying or changing deadline times for podficcers.*
*We’re particularly interested in hearing from our podfic participants about this. It’s common for podfic events to have a “while it’s still midnight anywhere in the world” deadline. That doesn’t work for us mods personally, but as our UTC deadline confused a lot of this year’s podfic participants, we’d like to hear your thoughts on how we can make our deadline clearer or what alternative times work for you.
We have a specific question regarding the podfic anthology, so we’ve make a poll! You can vote here or on our DW. (Please only vote on one of the polls to avoid skewing the results against people who don’t have accounts on both sites 🙏) The results may affect whether we continue creating an anthology as part of the project going forward.
Do you download, listen to, or appreciate the PokéPod Anthology?
Yes, I’d like it to stay
No, I don’t mind if it’s scrapped
(The anthology is the combined, chaptered audiobook file of all podfics produced each round in dex order.)
We’d also love title suggestions for our upcoming mini project for Unown, which will focus on creating fic/podfic for Unown’s 28 forms.
That’s all for now. See you in 2026!
