University students could be asked to pay back debt a little sooner than they thought. In a report issued by the Grattan Institute, the group have proposed a reduction to the FEE-HELP threshold from $54,126 to $42,000. Many students are concerned by the proposal and unsure of how it will affect their future.

I'm $117,238 in debt, if I can pay $200 a week towards it I should be able to pay that off in 12 to 14 years.. I want to cry. University is just a business and they pressure you to attend one because if you don't then you're a failure, truth is you're not a failure you'll just be debt free. I need a hug.
