So I finally got around to watching Yuri!!! On Ice (I am a huge ice skating fan so who knows why I took so long to get around to it. I wanted to see the episodes once they were cleaned up for the bluray, tbh). I marathoned it all in one day.

Verdict: I’M DYING.

It was so beautiful, I had no idea what I was getting into. I absolutely adored how they managed to give every single skater their own style, making them completely recognizable in every way, even aside from their character designs.

Victuri!! I will never abandon this ship. They really are just so perfect. I will never recover from watching this show.

Looks like somebody ran out of dolls to dress up.

Everyone focuses on what comes after this - and rightly so, because Beth is a ball of human perfection and “Don’t you think that’s beautiful” and “YOU’RE BEAUTIFUL” - but this line just gets to me. 

It’s similar to the “Faith ain’t done shit for us” dialogue, except I don’t think it’s similar at all. I think Daryl is trying to make a joke. I think he’s trying to make her laugh. He’s still a sarcastic little shit but now he’s HER sarcastic little shit, and he says this like he fully expects her to turn around and flash him a smile, say “Got much experience with dolls, Daryl Dixon?” And he’d smirk and keep on teasing her because “I’m a dick... when I’m drunk” and because that’s what they DO now - and maybe this time it backfires but that’s ok because she corrects him, she shows him what’s ok to joke about and what isn’t because he never really learned the difference and he never cared enough to want to until now. 

Because he tried to make a joke. He tried to make her smile. And he spends the rest of the episode continuing to do just that.
